Schematic representation of the colorimetric sensing procedure and fingerprints of various bases. The image analysis using the sensor array consists of sensor elements (Fuchsine (S1), Thionine (S2), CoCl2 (S3), and Giemsa (S4) which are color sensitive materials, analytes (OH−, CO32−, NH3, PO43−, ClO−, DEA, and TEA), image capture device (smartphone), data acquisition (RGB values). The fingerprints of each analyte were formed by interaction between analytes and can be distinguished due to the distinctive color map profiles
